Huawei unveiled their latest foldable device, the Mate X, during the MWC 2019 Event. Huawei has released its latest folding device, which is ahead of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in many respects.
The folding screen is 8 inches and the front screen is 6.45 inches and it has two OLED screens that support 90hz refresh rate.
The 8-inch interior screen features a "magnetically-controlled nano optical layer" technology that reduces light reflection and brightness.
The disadvantage is that it does not contain UTG glass.
The camera system features a quad camera setup, a 50mp wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, an 8mp periscope lens and a 16mp ultra wide lens.
The camera system has been developed in collaboration with Leica and has the ability to record video up to 4K, with a separate 16mp camera for selfies.
The 4,500mAh battery can be charged fast on the Huawei Super Charge 55w and is available in Black, White, Light Blue and Rose Gold with side mounted fingerprint capability.
The Mate X2 is available in two variants 256GB - 8GB RAM, 512GB - 8GB RAM and is powered by a Huawei Kirin 9000-5nm, 5G chipset.
This device also includes the EMUI 11 version with Android 10 and by default does not include Google Services.
The device will be available for purchase in China from February 25, with the 256GB version priced at $ 2780 and the 512GB version priced at $ 2940.
