DuckDuckGo, which was known as a company that saves user data, recently reported an incident of allowing Microsoft to track users. DuckDuckGo is popular among all of us as a well-known company and search engine that calls itself "privacy-focused" or dedicated to the data protection of users who use the services. Their main theme so far has been that they do not record users' search and internet activities like other search engines including Google.

Cybersecurity and privacy researcher Zach Edwards revealed that according to an agreement with Microsoft, DuckDuckGo allows users to send user data to services related to Microsoft such as Bing and LinkedIn through Microsoft's tracking scripts and track users through them. DuckDuckGo CEO Gabriel Weinberg has confirmed to Zach Edwards on Twitter that he accepts this matter. The representatives of the company have stated that the company is already working to solve this problem.
