Information about the new version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip (SoC) series has been leaked to the internet and it is reported that this chpset will be called Snapdragon 888+ and will be built on the 4nm fabrication process.
Popular tech news leaker Evan Blass has shared information about this latest flagship member of the Snapdragon family and its capabilities on his Twitter account.
The latest 4nm chipset will feature an X65 5G modem that will deliver 10Gbps (10 gigabits per second) wireless download speeds, while the current Snapdragon 888 (5nm) chipset will have a capacity of 7.5Gbps
The powerful chipset will be powered by an ARMv9 chip architecture and will be powered by a Kryo 780 CPU, and the new version will use the Adreno 730 GPU to replace the old Adreno 660 GPU processor.
However, this Adreno 730 GPU processor has not been officially launched yet.
In addition, the latest flagship chipset will be powered by an Adreno 665 video processing unit and an Adreno 1195 display processing unit, which will power most flagship Android phones to be released in 2022, including the Galaxy S22.
