Apple's next-gen 'M2' Mac processor has reportedly gone into production

Launched last year, the chipset has revolutionized the world of technology, with Apple now launching the MacBook, Mac Mini, iPad and iMac powered by the chipset.

Apple has reportedly begun mass production of the next generation of the chipset, or the Apple M2 chipset, with the MacBook, which will be released later in July this year, according to the Nikkei Asia website.

This chipset is also manufactured by TSMC and will be manufactured using the latest 5-nanometer plus (N5P) technology developed by TSMC.

In 2020, Apple announced that it would remove Intel chipsets from their computers within two years and replace them with full-fledged Apple Silicon chips, and by 2022 Apple would stop using Intel chips for its devices.
